Microsoft is ending support for Internet Explorer versions older than 11. From the article: “The older versions of Explorer will remain functional but they won’t receive any more technical or security updates after the cut-off. This, therefore, means that those who insist on using the outdated versions will become more vulnerable to security breaches and hackers.”
If you use Internet Explorer to access web pages vital to your business, contact your vendors and make sure they have a plan to support Microsoft’s newest version of Internet Explorer. If they don’t this can spell trouble when your computer automatically updates!
To avoid some of this confusion, we typically recommend customers use Google Chrome unless their vendors require otherwise.
